Privacy policy

This page explains in plain terms how RadioForge handles data. Adjust the details here to match your actual build, storefront, and hosting.

1. Offline first design

RadioForge is designed to work fully offline. The desktop app does not need an internet connection to process audio files or use presets. Your audio remains on your machine and is not sent to us.

2. Information we may collect on this website

When you visit the RadioForge website, standard web server logs may record basic technical information, for example:

This information is used in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the site. It is not used to create personal profiles.

3. Direct purchases

If you buy RadioForge directly through this site, payment is handled by a third party payment processor. They will collect information needed to complete the transaction, such as your name, email address, and payment details.

We receive limited information from that processor, such as confirmation that a payment was successful and a contact email for support and license delivery. We do not see your full payment card details.

4. Steam purchases

If you purchase RadioForge through Steam, your relationship with Valve and Steam is governed by their own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive direct access to your Steam account data. We may see anonymous sales reports and high level usage stats that Steam provides to developers.

5. Contact and support

If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we will receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is used only to reply to your request and keep simple records of support history.

6. Cookies and analytics

If you add analytics or cookies to this site, describe that clearly here. For example, whether you use a privacy friendly analytics provider, what is tracked, and how visitors can opt out.

7. Data retention

We keep support emails and purchase records for as long as reasonably needed for accounting, license verification, and support. If you want your support messages removed from our records, you can request that by contacting us.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. If you have questions about your data or want to make a request, reach out via the contact page.

9. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated as RadioForge or the website changes. When the policy changes, a revised date will be posted here.

This is a template privacy policy for a small indie tool. Replace placeholder text and adjust wording to match your actual setup and local legal requirements.
